'MATTER BEFORE HOSPITAL BOARD. DEFERRED FOR THE PRESENT. “Has anything further been done- in the matter of a resident medical superintendent,” asked Mr R. A. Fraser, ar the meeting of the Hospital Board today. “Has that question been shelved indefinitely ” The secretary (Mr J. J. East): That will have to be held over till the Nurses’ Home- is completed. Is it all a question of accommodation. Mi* Rathbone: May I add too that that we have to hold it over till the major scheme of improvements, which we propose is before the Board. When we decide on those improvemnts they will cost anything from £20,000 to, £30,000.
