Zealand Court at Wembley is concentrated largely on show.ng what the country is actually like. Visitors are, charmed with the general waterfall scene also dioramas of the Waitomo Caves, Southern Alps, Milford Sounds, Wanganui, River and the Rotorua geysers. A life s ze cow and calf, and a relief may of the Dornin .on modelled in butter, are. excellent features. The King and the Prince of Wales lect a splendid collection of Maori arts and crafts to the New Zealand pavilion. The authorities have introduced a fine system -of night lighting, whereunder the pavil on is seen at its best. One of the features of the opening wa tor good sales of overseas iruit Australian apples sold at threepence and fourpence. each. The New Zealand fruitgrowers arc again directly conducting their own stall taking profits. They undersold everybody, four small apples for sixpence and five larger for a shilling were the ruling prices.
