The Coursing Club denies that it agreed to sub-lease Forbury Park to the Rugby League for the matek against England on August 9, Jt points out it has not held a. mocking since July 14, when the question of sub-leasing the ground was not even mooted. It expresses surprise that it should be joined in an action brought by the R’ngby Union against the bury Park Club and New Zealand League to prevent the Park being used for the league match.
