Nominations, with requisite amount of fees for events numbered 2,8, 4. 6,7, f Oy 1,2 rmrl 13, must bo iu the hands of DAY, MARCH 6th, together with rcc- ‘ ord of performances at the last three meetings, giving details of handicaps allowed and the name of scratch man. All other events arc post entry except the Maiden Hunters’ Competition. The prizes at this meeting will be warded subject to the list -of performBces being strictly accurate. In all running events competitors mist be attired in suitable costumes, vi., jersey sleeved to elboW and loose drivers or crunks. Ghrce starters or no second prize. Al events except Nos. 3 and 5 open to a. comers. No. 8 is open to members only who live within a radius of four .files of the ground. Tin attention of competitors for Athletic Kents is drawn to Rule 15 of Constitutiti and 18 of Regulations. All kcccptanccs are free, handicaps will belcclared as soon as possible after entries. The Jnndicappcrs reserve the right to rc-handjap any competitor winning an event afer the handicaps are declared. Protesa must bo put in writing, and handed tc the secretary within 15 minutes after disputed events, accompanied with a feefi ss, which will be forfeited should the protest be deemed frivolous. When ar event is contested in more than two preliminary heats the first and second shall run in the final. If an event is coitested in two preliminary heats, the first, second, and third shall run in the final. The Committee wish it to be distinctly understood that they will take no responsibility in cate of any accidents to competitors. The Committee do not bind themselves to run the events fn the order enumerated above. The Rualfinc .Brass Band will play selections during the day. Refreshment bfioth on the ground. The ground is situated 6 miles Wood* ville and Matahiwi Railway stations and 12 miles from D.umevirke by splendid roads.
