The Poultry Show.

The annual show of the Woodville Poultry, Pigeon and Cage-bird Association will be held this day three weeks. A liberal schedule of prizes has been circulated throughout the district and the prospects of a highly successful show are very bright. Tile Committee are actively working to ensure a large entry, and all details are being carefully attended to. A novel feature is to bfr a competition for egg preservatives. Competitors are to bring a dozen eggs to the Show and to pat them down in different preservatives. The Society will find the vessels and materials (unless the competitors have their own preparations), and will take charge of the eggs. The packages are to be opened at the 1907 Show.

Messrs Newton and Co., of Kaiwarra, have donated a special prize of a guinea. The championship allotted to the Show is that for Silver Wyandottes* Entries close ou the 28th inst.
