Ss. Petersburg, April 25. Seven sham policemen, one in the uniform of an officer of the gendarmerie, belonging to a fighting revolutionary organisation, obtained at the Central Prison of Warsaw the custody of ten important political prisoners, explaining that they were ordered to transfer them to the Citadel, When the prison van reached the outskirts of the town, the driver was chloroformed and the others, doffing their uniforms, escaped.
