INSULTING THE KING. Adelaide, March 26. Dr Dowie, at a meeting last night, made an attack on toe King, of whose piofy, be said, no one could boast. Nobody imagined that he bad much religion to spare. He only hoped he bad enough to get him to Heaven, but if he bad it would only be by the skin of his teeth. Tiie Mayor has written to Dowie slating bis remarks were an insult to every Br itish subject, that Dowie is a disgrace to bis nationality, and that if he repeats such insults he will be summarily ejected from the Town Hall by the police.
