Messrs Levin and Co. have received from their agents, Messrs Dalgety and Co. (Limited), the following cablegram, dated London, sth March:—" The wool sales continue firm, and lately reported sales are fully maintained. The prices for "Western Victorian greasy and washed wools are on a par with the closing rates of last series. The bulk of good and greasy merino wools below lOd are from 5 to 6 per cent, higher than those closing rates of last series, while inferior miriuos are at par to 5 per cent higher than those closing rates. Fine scoured wools in general are uuchonged, and all other descriptions of scoured wools are 0 per cent, higher than last season's closing values. Crossbreds are also 5 per cent, higher, but the prices for lambs' wool are scarcely maintained.
