SANDER & SONS'EUOALTPTI EXTEACT. —Under the distinguished pat. ronage of his Majesty the Bang of Italy, as per communication made by the Minister for Foreign Affairs, through the Consul-General for Italv at Melbourne, 14th March, 1878. Awarded Diploma at the Amsterdam Exhibition, 1888. Acknowledged- by Medical Clinics and Universities all over the globe. There are imitations of Eucalypti Extraot in the market, products of simple distillation, forming crude resinous oils In order that these crude oils may not be taken for our Pure Volatile Eucalypti Extract, which is recognised by the medical division of the Prussian Governmeet to be of perfectly pure origin, as per information forwarded to us through the Consul at Melbourne, 2nd March, 1879 we state: — It is proved by testa made by the Medical Clinics of the Universities at Bonand Greifswald (Prussia), and reported by Dt Shulz, Professor of Pharmacology at Bonn, and Professor De Mosler, Director of the Medical Clinic at Greifswald, that only products that are saturated with oxygen and freed of acids, resinous and other substances, adherent to primary distillation, will develoue the senative qualities proper to the plant. All crude oils, or so—called Eucalypti Extracts are to be classed according to the named authorities among the turpinetines which are of insignificant medicinal value and abandoned long since as an interna medicalment. The crude oils, or so-called Eucalypti Extracts are de3cernible. 1. By their deficency in pungent odor (which our product, the only genuine Eucalypti Extract, developes more freely throughi ts surplus of oxygen). 2. By their alcoholic, thin and mobile appearance being reduced in special density through the presence of acids. 8. By their taste, the result of the contractmg tendency of resins and tenent If these crude oils, or so-called Eucalypti Extracts are applied by mistake in cases of croup, bronchitis, diptheria, internal inflammations, dysentry, &c, the consequences are most appalling. For safety sake ask always for Sander and Sons' Eucalypti Extract.—Sandhurst, Victoria, Australia—SANDEß & SONS. PEBSONS OF DELICATE CONSTITUTION, who are obliged to abstain from ordinary Coffee, should try Crease's Taraxacum . or Dandelion Coffee, which is recommended by the highest Medical Authorities as a very valuable beverage for those suffering from weak digestion, flatulency, nervousness, etc. Not to know is not to have. " MAKING BOTH ENDS MEET " is rather a difficult task in life with many, but the expense of good cooking is reduced to a minimum by using the SUN BAKING POWDER, purer and cheaper than most others. Give it a trial. PROFESSOR LIEBEG says:—" We shall never know how men were first directed to the use of Coffee, but we may consider the article so remarkable for its action on the brain and the substance of the organs of motion as an element of food for organs yet unknown, which are destined to convert the blood into nervous substances and thus recruit the energy of the moving and thinking faculties." If you wish to benefit yourself you could not do better than drink Cbease's a.i; Coffee. Sold everywhere n 1 and 21b tins. For it is the best.
