Mr Walsh advertises for a lost dog. On Friday a man named O’Keefe, work; ing at the facing of tlye long tnnnell at the Gorge fell a distance of forty feet, fracturing three ribs and suffering severe bruises about the head and arms. He was working with the usual rope support when it gave way. O'Keefe was picked up insensible. Dr Williams was promptly on the spot and brough liim to consciousness and attended to his injuries.
