How Princess Beatrice Looks.
I observe in an American journal that the Princess Beatrice is n tall, slender young lady, with fair hair. I was not aware of it. Had 1 been called upon to describe her I should have said a fine woman, of tho middle height for a woman, and inclined to bo stout. Slim! None of the female members of the royal family arc that ; or, to be more precise, none of the blood relations of Queen Victoria. The Princess Christian is the stoutest of the Queen’s daughters, but after her 1 should decidedly place Princess Beatrice. Vulgarly fat she is not, but she is blessed with a generous figure. Hhe is built, if I may liorrow the least sensation of a nautical figure of speech, on pleasantly rounded lines. There is nothing angular about her comeliness, as there was before her marriage about that of the late Princess Alice, and also about the contour (contour is a good word, I hope) of the Princess Louise.
