Worth Noting.
One of our eminent physicians requested one of our equally eminent surgeons to accompany him to see a man of wealth, known, however, to be under diiliculties. The patient was exceedingly polite to both, ami the visit ended. Soon after this the same physician called again on the surgeon, requesting that he would accompany him to see another patient. On their way the surgeon observed : •• 1 hope this patient will behave more liberally than the last." Why," said the M. 1),, “did he not give you a fee Sot a shilling," was the reply. “The scoundrel !" said the Astoni*hed M.H. "Whv, he actually borrowed two guineas of me to give to you. ’
