At Woodville wo had cuttle, iu every pe.i and a good pen of hoggets'; Wo sold every head of cattle,, every lot, excepting uni' under the hammer and the hoggets and Koine hacks. We quote the following prices : U and 4-ve.-.r steers, Xi 17s Oil; SI .year steers, X 3 12s Od; cows X’2 10s to M> fa ; iH-months mixed, X2 la ; weaners heifers, 17s (td ; hoggets, 8k sd; hacks, X‘2 15b to X'lß. AUCKLAND LIVE STOCK AND PRODUCE MARKETS. Mr Alfred liuckland’s Report.—At Remueru on Thursday .’.tore cattle were yarded far in excess of advertisement. There was a numerous attendance, and a steady demand throughout the sale. For cattle of all descriptions, prices advanced about five per cent, over late markets. Fat rattle were in average number, and a further advance in price was obtained. Wolhfalted steers were at 25s the lOOlbs ; fat sheep were in full numbers, and heavy sheep were lower in price, about 2s each ; medium weigdit at last week's prices; lambs in brisk demand. Those of good quality ranged from 15a to -20 s Od each. Pigs numerous, principally stores. They were required, and advanced in price.
