Its platform will be that of the greatest good of the greatest number, and its ambition will bo to rank as an influential district journal ,pnd outspoken organ of public opinion; * Eocal, district*, and commercial news will receive full prominence, and the proceedings of meetings of the governing bodies and of other public aisetpbJios will be faithfully recorded, and its co>re ipondents in the various districts will periodically furnish all items of intelligence of special or general interest.
