T OWRY BAY ESTATE Tenders are invited from persons desirous of renting from the Crown the above estate —it consists of 569 acres, including six puddoeks, containing in all about fifteen acres laid down in grass, and 240 acres aoine time | since sown with English grass, but now mostly covered with scrub ; the rest of the land is covered with timber. There are two houses on the estate, one of four rooniß, the other of seven rooms and outbuildings, garden and orchard. The tenancy will be annual, commencing from the first of April next, terminable after the first year by three months' notice ending at any term in the year. Rent, payable quarterly. The tenant will not be bound to insure or repair, but will have to covenant not to cut the timber or plough up grass. Tenders, addressed to the Provincial Secretary, Blenheim, and endorsed " Tender for Survey," will be received until Thursday, the 20th of March next, from competent surveyors willing to contract for the subdivision and staking out of about five thousand (5000) acres of forest land in the Rai Valley, in the district of Pelorus, in the province of Marlborough. Superintendent's Office, Blenheim, Ist March, 1873. mo OONTEAOTORS The Telegraph Commissioner is prepared to receive Tenders for the supply and delivery of one thousand (1000) TELEGRAPH POLES, more or less. The poles to be sawn from the heart of totara. The poles to be of the following dimensions : — Twenty-five (25) and twenty (20) feet long, (in proportions hereafter to be determined), to be eight (8) inches 6quare at the butt, and six (6) inches square at the top. The poles to be Bound, strnit, and free from shakes, knot?, and sap. N.B. — No pole will be accepted which contains the least sap or speckled Umber. kr*y poles which may be brought on the ground and rejected will be cut in two. Not lees than one hundred (100) poles to be delivered every fourteen days from the date of signing the contract at the Telegraph Stores, Wellington, and the whole of the poles to be delivered within four (4) months from the same date, under a penalty of £5 per diem for every day beyond the time specified. Tenderers are to specify the price per pole as per size given, and the quantity they are prepared to cut and deliver at the rate mentioned above, but no tender will be accepted for a smaller quantity than 250, for which a proportionate time of the four months for completion will be allowed. Each tender to be accompanied by a deposit of twenty-five (£25) pounds as a guarantee of good faith, which sum will be forfeited by any tenderer should he refuse to take up his tender in the event of its being accepted. Each tender muet include the natnesof two sureties for approval, who are willing to become bond for the due performance of the contract, in the event of the tender being accepted, and must be accompanied by a notification to that effect, signed by the two proposed sureties. Tenders, endorsed "Tender for the supply of one thousand (1000) Poles," and addressed "The General Manager, Telegraph Department, Wellington," muet be sent in not later than the 25th March next. I hereby give notice that by virtue of a writ of fieri facias issued out of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, to me directed and delivered, I have caused my bailiff to enter upon part of section 150 on the plan of the oity of Wellington, and being allotment eleven on the plan of the said section, bounded on the South by allotment nineteen part of same section, thirty feet on the North by Qhuznee street, thirty feet on the East by allotment ten part of said section ninety feet, and on the West by allotment twelve part of said section, being the equity of redemption (subject to two mortgages) of the above named George Timothy Bell (such land haying been taken in execution at the suit of the execution creditor), and that it is my intention to sell or cause the said property with all buildings and appurtenances thereon to be sold by public auction at " Themas' " auction mart, Wellington, aforesaid, on Tuesday, the 13th day of May, 1873, at twelve o'clock noon, unless satisfaction be sooner made of the said amount of judgment and all further costs and expenses incidental thereto.
