The Opposition exhibited to the fullest extent their " funk" last night. After all the talk and twaddle with which they delayed the House, they had not the pluck to take a division upon Sir David Monro's motion. Whon the division was called for overy member of Mr Stafford's party, including (he mover himself, walked out, but the House was not tobe balked of a division, and Mr Reynolds volunteered to vote with the ayes, to afford the opportunity for membeVs to record their votes. lie aud Major Atkinson con-
stituted the only voters upon the side of the ayes. Major Atkinson was for the ayes, 'but the result of the division was thirty to two — one of the two being Mr Reynolds. With the pairs the vote was nominally forty to eleven, but really, including Mr Reynolds, forty-one to ten. And thus ends another of the fiascos of the Opposition. We mny possibly have other exhibitions of tho kind, but they can only add to the strength of the verdict against them. 1
