CALEDONIAN SOCIETY.

The annual meeting of tho members of this society was held lasfc evening at the New Zealander Hotel. George Crawford, Esq., occupied the cliair. Tho minutes of last meeting were read and confirmed. A form of debenture was submitted by the president, and after a slight alteration was -adopted. The treasuror, Capt. M'lntyrno, read the annua) report and balance sheet, wliich was considered mosfc satisfactory, and after a few remarks were unanimously adopted. The election of ollico bearers was then proceeded with, when the followinggentlemon wero duly elected, viz : — President — G. Crawford, Esq ; Vice-President— Thomas Buchanan, Esq ; Honorary Treasurer—Capt. M'lntyre ; Secretary— Mr B. Wallace ; Directors— Messrs Crawford, Buchanan, M'lntyre, M'Kenzie, Lockio, Grant, Ray or, Lawrio, Greenfield, Sellars, Gilligan, Steward, M'Dowell, Fife, P. Donald, Blundell, Graham, Rivers, E. Dixon, Capt. Carey, and M'Kirdy. It was resolved that there, should be two days' sport, and a programme committee was appointed. It was moved, seconded, and carried unanimously, that the best thanks of the meeting be given to the president, vicepresident, treasuror, and secretary, for the efficient manner in which they have conducted tho business of the socioty during the past twelve months. A vote of thanks to . the chairman concluded the business of the meeting, which was adjourned until the 15th November. ,
