It is proposed on Sunday, the 24th December, to steam some distance up Polovous Sound, in order to afford excursionists an opportunity of seeing the flno scenery in which this Sound abounds ; to proceed afterwards through fcho French Pas 3to Nelson, arriving Sunday evening nt the latter port. After stopping at Nelson Monday 25th, and Tuesday, 2Gth December, on which day tho annual regatta takes place, the steamer will leave Nelson on the return fox 1 Wellington direct on the Morning o! WEDNESDAY, the 27th DECEMBKR. Every effort will bo made to secure the ■comfort, of passengers. The Bleeping accommodation in tho salooa will be reserved for ladies, while gentlemen will be accommodated in the spacious fore-cabin, which will be specially fitted up for tho occasion.
