Theso and export orders have taken a fair quantity of goods, chiefly from second hands. The receipt of a cargo of Chilian flour to a fully supplied market can only be accounted for on the supposition that it was induced by the fallacious statistics regarding the Victorian harvest, published some months ago. Valparaiso advices of September lsfc quote flour at 6 dollar?, say £12, irrespective of commission, freight, and other charges, would at present prices hero leave so gre.it a loss upon tho E. M.
