The Nebraska having arrived at Auckland on the 7th, with the English mail via San Francisco, the Taranaki and Phcobo left the Manukau the same afternoon, and arrived at Taranaki yesterday morning. The Taranaki proceeded to Nelson with the Weßt Coubl, Nelson, and Picton portion of the mail, and the Phoebe came on to tins port direct, arriving here early this morning. She will proceed South at two o'clock to-day with the Canterbury and Otago portion of the mail. The sb. Keertt, Captain Carey, ir»ay be expected to arrive here from Napier, Tauranga, and Auckland, on Sunday, the 12th instant, and will leave the following day for the South. We understand that the Bcrew-Bteamer Maori, Captain Halcombe, baa been substituted for the aB. Beautiful Star. The Maori will arrive here on Saturday morning, and ■will leave for Napier the same afternoon. The 8.8. Wellington, Captain Kennedy, will leave Port Chalmers punctually, as'advertised, on Friday next, for Lyttelton and Wellington. She will briug back the excursionists from the Canterbury races ; and will leave for Northern parts on Monday next.
