TELEGRAMS.
Lyttelton, 26th— 8 40 a.m., Gothenburg, from Wellington ; 5.30 p.m., Phoebe, for Wellington. The s.s. Taranaki, Captain Wheeler, arrived in harbor yesterday morning at nine o'clock. She crossed the Manukau bar at 6.15 p.m. on the 23rd October, and arrived at Taranaki at 8.30 a.m. on the 24th ; left again at 1.30 p.m. same day, and arrived at Nelßon at 5 a.m. on the 25th ; left again at 7 p.m. same day, and arrived at Pieton at 3 a.m. yesterday ; left again at 4 50 a.m., and arrived as above. Fine ■weather with light variable winds throughout the passage, and from Pieton a Btrong N.W. wind. The s.s. Phoebe, Captain Worsp, is due here at noon to-day, having left Lyttelton at 5.30 last evening, and leaves to-morrow for Pieton, Nelson, Taranaki, and Manukau.
