THE Government having been empowered by special Acts of the Legislature to enter into contracts for Insurances on Lives, and for the grants of Annuities and Endowments, are now prepared to execute any of the usual contrnots dependent upon the contingencies of auman life. The following advantages are presonted as deserving of Public attention,, and especially of the working classes :— 1. All transactions and Powers of Attorney, and other documents, are free of stamp duty and all taxation. 2 No charge is made beyond the purchase money or premium. 3. Surrender values are granted on the whole or nny part of a contract which has endured for three years. 4. The tables of premiums in all the brandies are considerably less than in any other office in New Zealand. 5. Residence is permitted in any part of the Globo distant except within 31 ° S., or 33 °N, of the Equator, or in any part of the Australian Colonies south of the 25th parallel of soMth latitude, and premiums may ahvnys be paid on the due dates at the nearest Money Order Office. 6. Insurances effected for the benefit of, and settled on wife or children are free, to the extent of £2000, fromtho claims of creditors. 7. The Consolidated Revenue of the Colony is liable for all claims, in the event of the receipt.3 at any time being insufficient to moot demands, thus affording the best security to the assured.
