THE SOLE REASON WHY WE HAVE IMPORTED SO LARGELY THIS SEASON was owing to tho inducement hold out to our buyors by the unsettled state of the markets, in consequence of Continental difficulties, and TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A FAVORABLE OPPORTUNITY, and buying largely. In many iustancos we have been enabled to save fifty per cent on former prices, or, in other words, to buy at HALF PRICE, and in no case less than TWENTY PER CENT, lower than last year. Of this our customers shall have the full benefit. In an advertisement of this sort wo cannot give details, but will note a few of the special lines, which no family should be without, as the price is very little over one-half of that hitherte charged in Wellington for the same class of goods.
