THE SOLE REASON WHY WE HAVE IMPO.RTED SO LARGELY THIS SEASON was owing to the inducement held out to our buyers by the unsettled state of the markets, in consequenco of Continental difficulties, and TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A FAVORABLE OPPORTUNITY, and buying largely. _n mnny instances we have beon enabled to save fifty per cent on former prices, or, in other words, to buy at HALF PRICE, and in no case less than TWENTY PER CENT, lower than last yenr. Of this our customers shall have the full benefit, In an advertisement of this sort we cannot give details, but will note a few of the special lines, which no family should be without, as the price is very little over one-half of that hitherto charged in Wellington for the same class of goods.
