Eight hundred weight of specimens were taken out of the Caledonian mine during the night, mostly from the No. 2 shot, Tho show of gold is splendid. Between three and four tons of speci-me-ns are out. More rich stone was taken out of the Evening Star mine today." Another patch of specimens was taken out of the leader in the Brunswick mine last night. There are five tons of stuff ready for crushing. The Central Italy mine is improving, and continues to attract much attention. 4 p.m. Five hundred weight of specimens were brought up out of the Caledonian this afternoon. 8.57 p.m. In Tookcy Company's ground a rich patch of specimens was stoped out to-day by Austin's tribute party. Sinking the shaft in the Central Italy mine is progressing favorably. The share market is quiet. Inquiry for Otago.ltalian, and Brunswick shares. Caledonian shares sold at £'185 ; Thames, £30 ; Central Italy, 02s Gd ; Golden Calf, 52s Gd ; Nonpariel, 90s.
