THE SOLE REASON WHY WE HAVE IMPOETED SO LARGELY THIS SEASON was owing to the inducement held out to our buyers by the unsettled state of tho markets, in consequence of Continental difficultins, and TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A FAVORABLE OPPORTUNITY, and buying largely. In many instances wo have been enabled to save fifty per cenfc on former' prices, or, in other words, to buy at HALF PRICE, and in no oase less than TWENTY PER CENT, lower than last year. Of this our customers shall have the full benefit. r In an advertisement of this sort we cannot give details, but will note a few of the special lines, which no family should be without, as the price is very little over one-half of that hitherto charged in Wellington for the snme class of goods. CLOTHING AND HOSIERY DEPARTMENT.
