THE SOLE RE4SON WHY WE HAVE IMPORTED SO LARGELY THIS SEASON was owing to the inducement held out to our buyers by the unsettled state of feiie markets, in consequence of Continental difficulties, and TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A FAVORABLE OPPORTUNITY, and buying largely. In many instances we have been enabled to save fifty per cent on formee prices, or, in other words, to buy at HALF PRICE, and in no case less than TWENTY PEB CENT, lower than last year. Of this our customers shall have the full benefit.
