THE SOLE REASON WHY WE HAVE IMPORTED SO LARGELY THIS SEASON was owing to the inducement held out to our buyers by ihe unsettled state of the markets, in consequenco of Continental difficulties, and TAKING ADVANTAGE OF A FAVORABLE OPPORTUNITY, and buying largely. In many instances we have been enabled to save fifty per cent on former prices, or, in other words, to buy at HALF PRICE, and in no case less than TWENTY PER CENT, lower thnn last year. Of this our customers shall have the full benefit. In an advertisement of this sort wo cannot give details, but will note a few of the special lines, which no family should be without, as the price is very little over one-half of that hitherto charged in Wellington for the same class of goods.
