Groceries. . WELLINGTON CO-OPERATIVE SOCIETY (LIMITED.) Store : Manners Street, Wellington. THE Committeo of tho above Society respectfully inform members, and tho public generally, that the store has now been in existence over twelve rnontbs, and bas satisfactorily proved to those who have taken active part in its working the immense advantages of tho Co-operative principle, which it is believed only requires to be better known to bo more fully appreciated. Tho object of the Society is to improve the social condition of its members by retaining amongst themselves the ordinary profit of shopkeepers, and dividing it in proportion to tho amount of goods each bus purchased from the store, without reference to tho number of shares held. As all profit beyond actual working expenses is proportionately divided, the holding of simply one share entitles a member to every benefit. Tho principle ot Co-operation is making rapid progress both in England and Amorica, nni the Committeo trust that the people of Wellington wi 11 see that it is to their interest to join in this mutually aiding system of trading, and co rid themselves of haying to pay other people's debts, us is tho caso under tho competitive system. Shares £1 each, payable at Is per week. Every information obtainable at the Store, Manners street. The Price List will comparo favorably with any shop in town. Good articles and full weight guaranteed. IN.B. — The Committee specially caution tho public against pretended Co-operative Stores, which aro only a trap to catch tho unwary, by taking advantage of a name to which they have no just claim, being simply ordinary shops under a borrowed title.
