The Comblain Rifle and Cahbine. — A proposition is now before the New South Wales Government to import into the colony tho Belgian "Comblain Riflo and Carbine," for the use of the Volunteer force. The "Comblain" can be loaded in three motions, described as follows : — l. Place the thumb of tho right hand up to second joint in front of tho trigger, pressing it forward sharply. Tho breech is thus opened, the empty cartridge caso ejected, and the hammer placed at full cock. 2. Insert tho cartridge in the breech, pressing it homo with tho thumb. 3. Close the undor-gunrd. Tho pieco can then be fired at once by pressing tho trigger with tho forefinger. To half-cock when loaded, t <o motions aro equally simple and oxpedifcious.4 Fox* this
