NOTICE is hereby given that application is intended to bo made at the next session of General Assembly of New Zealand on behalf of tho Mayor, Councillors and Burgesses of the Borough of Wellington incorporated under tho provisions of " Tho Municipal Corporations Act 1867" for leave to bring in a Bill to make provision for the construction and maintenance of Water Works for supplying the City of Wellington as douxed in the firstschedule to "The Municipal Corporations Act 1867" with water, and for defraying the cost of tho works intended to be constructed under tho provisions of tho said Bill.
