The special advantages offered by this well eataMshed Society are — 1. UNDOUBTED SECURITY.— On 28th February, 1869, the ascertained total Liability of tho Society was £453,000 while the Accumulated assets were 602,616 Showing a Clear Surplus of £149,646 There is also over and above the Assurance Fund the additional Security of a Special Reserve Fund of £50,000. At the above date the Society had in bar.d «jual tii 70 per cent, of tho entire Assurance Premiums received from members. 2. TARG-E BONUSES.— Because being a purely Mutual Office, the entire Profits belong to the Assured, and have not to be paid away iv Dividends to Shareholders. The total Reversionary Bonuses declared by the Society amount to £455,000. Hambers of the Assurance Branch can ofcfcaiu the value of their bonuses in Cash, or appropriate them to a reductioa of future Premiums. Premiums may be paid half-yearly 01 quarterly. Should a. member die during the days of gtr&ee, whilst the premium is unpaid, the Bolicj wili be valid and effectual. PROFITS DIVIDED EVERY FIVE YEARS.
