[PEH GBEVILIB'S 'DEI/. CO., BBUTEfl's AGENTS.] Timabu, Saturday. Last night the mate and a sailor from the schooner Ottawa went to the Beautiful Star to pick up their captain, who was supposed to be on b)nrd. The captain, however, was not there, and the men got into their boat to return to the Ottawa. Captain Hart, of the Beautiful Star, watched the boat till about a steamer's length off the Ottawa. This morning the boat was found three miles down the coast, empty, and with blood spots over it It is supposed that the men had quarrelled, and both had been drowned. They had been drinking on board the steamer. Bluff, Saturday. Sailed for Melbourne — Tararua and schooner Mary Ann. Alexandra, Sunday. It is currently reported that Eewi and seventy men will shortly visit Mr M'Lean in Auckland. If they return safe Tawhaio will visit him afterwards.
