Works for this City in room of those retiring, via. , — Messrs Dransfield (Te Aro Ward), Plimmer ; (Lambton Ward), and Borlase (Thorndon Ward), [ and that the Nomination of Candidates will tako . place on Monday, the sth September next, at the , following places and times, and that the poll (if necessary) will bo taken on tho following day :— Thorndon Ward — At tho Church of England School- room, Sydney street, at 12 o'clock noon.
