Taranaki, Captain Wheeler, left Onehunga wharf at 9 a.m. on the 25th, but lay at tho Manukau Heads unable to cross the bar till 9 a.m. on Sunday, the 28th ; remained off the Heads till 4 p.m. that day, and then proceeded to Taranaki, where she arrived at 10 a.m. on the 29th. Sailed again at 7 a.m. on the 30th, arriving in Nelson at 10 p.m. same day. Left Nelson at 1 a.m. on the Ist instant, and arrived at Picton at 10 am. ; sailed again /or Wellington, one hour later, calling at Bowdeu's Bay en route, and arrived alongside tho wharf at 4.15 p.m. yesterday afternoon. From Mauukau to Cape Egmont Bhe experienced a strong south-east gale and heavy sea, and thence light winds and fine ■weather till arrival. While in Nelson she was pub on the hard, and her bottom cleaned and painted. She conveyed a considerable number of passengers from Manukau to Nohon, and brings on six saloon and two steerage passengers for Wellington, and twenty-two for Northern ports She left again last night shortly after 10 p.m. for the South, and may bo expected to return to this port in about seven days. Mr and Mre Pharazyn aro passengers by this vessel.
