TO THE EDITOR OF THE INDEPENDENT.
Sib, — I notice in yonr ei-ening contemporary a long address of Mr John Plimmer, pounding his own trumpet. Allow me to state that he has never attended a meeting of <ho Board since October last, being a period of upwards of nine months, with the exception of being present at the meeting of the Board prior to the meeting of the ratepayers. Is this attending to the interests of his conetituentfl P—l am, &o, Batjepayeb.
