A Bush Acoideht. —A Southland paper says: —A youug man named King, resident at Winton, met with a severe accident on Saturday last by the unforseen back-slip of a tree that he had been felling. The butt end came in contact with his leg, breaking it below the knee, but fortunately inflioting no other injuries. Tho sufferer was immediately conveyed lo the hospital—a returning ballast train affording the means of easy, and speedy transit —and attended by Dr Deck, under whose care he is progressing satisfactorily.
