[A Card.] 1/TR JAMES OSGOOD begs most respectfully to notify the public of Wellington and its vicinity that he has this day disposed of bis business connected with tho EMPIEE HOTEL to Mr PHILIP STRELITZ, formerly of Duuedin, who will in future ooniluct the tame under his " own immediate supervision and management. Mr O. -trusta that his successor will meet with tho same liberal 3upport and encouragement us Jjus hitherto beea accorded to him. All liabilities due by Mr 0. must be sent in immediately for liquidation. Wellington, 7th April, 1868. In referring to the above, Mr P. STRELITZ begs to state that ho will closely imitate the well known good management of the late proprietor, and that he will forthwith commence to alter & portion of the very extensive premises into a convenient FAMILY HOTEL, which will enable him to accommodate families with PRIVATE SITTING AND BEDiIOOMS^ replete with every comfort, and fitted up in ait unexceptionably elegant manner. The strictest attention will be paid t "^the r quirements of that branch of tho business, and the greatest regard will be had for the comfort of intending visitors to his Hotel. The portion of the house allotted to the Family Hotel will be quite apart, and proper Drawing Rooms will bo provided for the special accommodation of guests. A PRIVATE FAMILY TABLE D'HOTE will also be comprised in the new arrangements, and no paina will bo spared by Mr Strelitz to render the Hotel, as much as he possibly can, the most comfortable in New Zealand. CATTLE AND DIAMOND beg to intimate to gentlemen visiting Wellington, during tho coming session of the General Assembly, that they can be provided with firstclass furnished apartments at very moderate rates.
