Satubday, 4th Apbil. (Before J. C. Crawford, Esq., E.M.) DEUNKENNESS. William Clarke and William Evans were fined 5s each for the above offence. CITIIi. James Osgood v Q-eorge Howo — Claim, £20. Summons not served. Monday, 6th April. dbunkenness. William Irwin was fined 5s for the abore offence. ASSAULTING- THE POLICE. William Arniitage was placed in the dock charged with having on the previous day been drunk and assaulting Constable Brown. The evidence was conclusive, and his Worship inflicted a fine of £3, with the alternative of imprisonment with hard labor for tho space of fourteen days. CIVIL. John Morgan vD.J. McKenzie — Claim £18 19s. Judgment for amount, and costs 30s. R. Barber v R. Borthwick— Claim, £5 14s sd. Judgment confessed.
