THE TELEGRAPH COMMISSIONER it • prepared to receive tenders for the erection - aud maintenance of a line of Telegraph between • Tenui Valley, in the Province of Wellington, and Parangahau, in the Province of Hawke's Bay. Tenders to state separately the price per mile. for erection, and the price for the maintenance of the line for twelve calendar months. Each tender must be accompanied by a deposit of twenty-five pounds sterling, as a guarantee of good faith, which deposit will be forfeited by any tenderer if, in the event of hie tender being accepted, he refuse to take up the contract. Each tender must include the names of two sureties for approval, who are willing to become bond for the due performance of the work in the event of the tender being accepted, and must be ; accompanied by a notification to that effect signed by the sureties.
