THE Telegraph Commissioner is pvepaved to receive tenders for tho erection and mainto- [ nance of a iine of telegraph between Napiei* and Pavangahau, both in the Province of Hawko's Bay. Tenders to state separately tho price per milo for erection, and the prico for tho maintenance of the line for tAvelvo calendar months. Each tender must be accompanied by a deposit of twenty-fivo pounds storling as a guarantee of good faith, which deposit will be forfeited by any tenderer if, in tbo event of his tender being accepted, he refuse to tjiko up tho contract;.
