Tho latest newa from the river Plate is to the effect that the allied army has crossed the Upper Parana into Paraguay, and that the news of a great and probably decisive battle may be shortly looked for.
The Spanish Admiral, Numez, nnd his squadron, huve arrived at Bio Janeiro.
