Imported Stock. — By tho ship Lanarkshire, from London, there have been brought to Victoria four draught horses of tho best, strain of tht» old country blood. These hordes — says the Argus — h.-ive been imporiod by Mr J. Nisbet — a competent judge of their capabilities, and well known for his previous importations of this kind of stock. The utmost care and attention wub host owed on them duiing tho voyage, and thuy arrived in admirablo order and condition. The Fiji Islands.— ll. M.e. Falcon has nrrived in >yduey from the Fijis ; slip brought over Capt. Jo es, consul of Fiji, and reports having visited Maldon Jslnnd. Sho found tho shipment of gumo there progressing. She also visited Hindi--1 ingbrook Island, whore the natives had burned 1 the brig Cuilew. Tho islanders refused \o par--1 ley, and showed hostile intentions. A portion of > tho crow lauded, and burned tho native village.
