Saturday, June 2. (Before J. Coutts Crawford, Esq., R.M.) DUXKKNNESS. John Kelly an old offender brought up charged with being drunk in the public street, was fined 20s. or seven days', imprisonment with hard labor. Alexander Lemingfcon also charged with drunkenness, was fined ss. or twenty-four hours' imprisonment. M. Ilogan charged with drunkenness and tearing the apprehending constable's uniform, was fined 10s. and ordered' to pay £2 to tho constable,or in default to be committed lo prison for seven days' with hard labor. BREACH OV CUSTOM'S ACT. The charge against the three prisoners John llawley, John Nichols, and William Phillips for robbery was withdrawn, and a fresh charge was made against them for a breach of tho Custom's Regulation Act. The prisoners Phillips and Hawley pleaded guilty, and the prisoner Nichols not guilty. Mr. Borlase appeared, for the prosecution. Const able Eghun sworn, said — I know the prisoner Nichols. I saw him in company with Hawley and Phillips, coming from the direction of the Queen's Wharf. They all went into Lindley's mid I followed them. As soon as they got in, Nichols closed the door. I went into the shop kept by Lindley, and found the three prisoners dose together. Phillips was sitting down. I found a quantity of tobacoo, somo on a chair and some in tho possession of Ilawley and Phillips. Phillips was sitting on the chair upon which the tobacco was lying. I have Buen the prisoner Nichols in company with the other two prisoners repeatedly during tho lust two months. Mr. Borlaso expressed his regret at having to press a conviction ngainst Phillips the chief officer of the ship, and in the case of tho other two pri- ' soners said, lie felt no reluctnnco whatever in prosecuting them, as they were well-known bad characters. His Worship inflicted the mitigated fine of £25 each and costs. Monday, June 4 (Before J. C. Crawford, Esq., R.M.) DRUNKENNESS. Thomas Murphy, George Pudnoy, Adam Wilson, and Henry Flegg all charged with tho above offence, were fined ss. each or twenty-four hourß' imprisonment,

William Murray, also charged with drunkenness, was fined 10s., or forty-eight hours' imprisonment, with hard labor. W. Tartot and Do Courcy Duff both charged with a similar offence, were fined 20s. each. DEBT CASKS. C. Austin v. 11. Silk— This was a claim for £1 Bs. Pl.untilF admitted thai he had received 10s. since taking out the summons. Judgment given for 18s. and costs.
