OTAGO.
The Daily Times of the 15th inst says : — In the flour market very little has been done, but prices remain firm. In other goods no altertions in quotations have occurred. Messrs S. S. and A. Lazarus (of whose suspension almost a certainty has existed during the past two days) called their creditors together this afternoon, submitted a statement of affairs shewing gross liabilities amounting to £25,000 against assets amounting to nearly tho like amount, but the valuations of which are subject to the possibility of considerable alteration. It is understood that of the liabilities about one-half of tho amount are out of tho colony, and of the balance only about £3000 is due to unsecured creditors here. It was arranged that two creditors should examine the affairs of the estate, and report prior to deciding on the mode of winding up.
