WAIRARAPA AND EAST COAST MAILS. SEALED TENDERS (in duplicate) will be received at this office until the 22nd March, at noon, from persons desirous of contracting for -the following services, for a period of twelve months, from the Ist April next . — Ist. For the conveyance of Weekly Mails between Wellington, Featherston, Grey town, Carterton, and Masterton. The Mails to leavo Wellington every Wednesday, at 12 noon, and the return Mails to ho delivered in Wellingten the following Tuesday, at noon. A period of twentyfour hours to be allowed at Masterton between the arrival and departure of the Mails. 2nd. For the conveyance of Weekly Mails between Wellington, Featherston, Grey town, Carterton, and Masterton. The mails to leave Wellington every Saturday, at 12 noon, and the return Mails to be delivered in Wellington the following Friday, at noon. A period of twentyfour hours to be allowed at, Masterton between the arrival and departure of the Mails. 3rd. For the conveyance of Fortnightly Mails between Masterton. Whareama, and Castle Point. To leave the first named place on the arrival of the Mail from Wellington, and the last named place after twelve hours notice nt the Post Office. For the conveyance of Daily Mails between the Lower Hutt, Taita. and Upper Hutt, to leave the Post Office, at the Lower Hutt, at 6 p.m., and the house of Mr Peter WilUie, at the Upper Hutt, at 6 a.m. The above services can be tendered for together or separately. NOTICE is hereby given that the Commissioner of Crown Lands having declined to certify to all that piece of land in the Ohariu District containing 500 acres, more or less, heretofore included in the applications of Charles Austin, and Thomas Morgan, for 5s land, and bounded North by selections of James Mitchell and James Willis, East by sections 52' 47, 45 and 43 in the Porirua District, and by the selection of James Willis, South liy selections of James Willis and John Woodman and others, and by sections 37 and 36 Ohariu District, and West by sections 52, 50, 49, 47, and 46 Ohariu District ; and that the said land will be open for selection at this office, on and after Thursday, the 23rd day of -March next, under the Land Regulations of the Province of Wellington.
