APPLICATIONS will be received by tbe undersigned for Shares of .£lO each in the New Zealand Steam Navigation Company, Limited, Second Series, conditions : Ten shillings per share to accompany each application. Two pounds per share to be paid within fifteen days after allotment. The balance by calls of £1 per share, at intervals of at least three months. Shareholders will hays the option of paying to the extent of £5 per share, receiving interest ou tbe I over-paoment at ths rate of te l per cent per annum, until absorbed in calls. TENDERS will be received a the Head Office of the Company, Welliugton, on or before the Ist day of February, 1864, from persons willing to provision the cabin and steerage passengers and crew of the Companies steamers now or which may j be in their employ, for twelve months commencing I Ist March, 1864. Tenders to state at what rate per diem for cabin and steerage passengers and crew. The Providore will have the privilege of supply, ing wine, spirits, and beer at ordinary rates. Scale of charges to be approved by the Company. Contractor to find stewards and cooks at bis own expense, and to enter into bonds for the due lulfilment ofthe contract, with two sureties.
