' A flue now steamer has been launched at Glasgow, christened the Otago, which is intended to carry the nulls between Sydney and New Zealand. Her length of kesl and fore rake is 234 feet 6 incheß ; breadth of beam, 86 feet 9 inches; depth of hold, IS feet 6 inches, Sh* will be despatched by Messrs Moulder Brothers and Co for Melbourne, Sydney, and New Zealand on the 32nd October, and it is intendod that she shall steam out the whole way, calling at St Vincent amd the Cape to coal, and at ' Melbourne to land passengers and mails. Among the passengers by the Dorwentwat#r la Mr Harper, a sonof the Bishop of Canterbury.
