EOR SALE, — A New Screw Steamer, now in course of completion by the undersigned, will carry 200 tons coal on a draught of nine feet wator ; average draught with general cargo eight feet. Coppeied and thoroughly copper fastened, and equal to any fourteen years classed vessel. Her dimensions are as follows: — Steam register, 13(5 tous. Gross register, 177' tons. Length of keel, IQ6 feet. Length overall, 130 feet. Brendth of beam, 19 feet. Depth of hold, 13 feet 3 inches. Main deck flush, fore and aft; cabin abaft engines for master and officers, and cabin forward for crew, thus leaving a large space for cabin accommodation, either by round house on deck, or cabins below the deck. Engines of 50-horse power, inverted description, direct action ; fitted with gear to disconnect for sailing. Diameter of screw propeller, 7 feet; three blades. Boilers, double cylindrical form, two furnaces, tubular description, proved by hydraulic pressure to 100 lbs. Coal Bunkers, capable of holding 20 tous ; donkey engine for pumping, &c. Average speed under steam, nine knots ; under canvass twelve knots. She is now ou the stocks, and the builder invites inspection of either hull or machinery previous to the vessel being launched.
