London, 3rd September. VIA MALTA. [From the Herald's Adelaide Telegraphic Correspondent.] The C'ara Savers has arrived at Adelaide, bringing dates from Mauritius to September 3rd. The interruption of telegraphic communication between Malta and Alexandria no longer existed. A telegram has been received at Mauritius, dated Paris, August stb, containing the following important items of news. . — An understanding exists between England, Fiance, and Austria, to demand of Russia the acceptance of their proposal fur a cessation of hostilities with Poland. A conference follows, at which the principal points of difficulty will be discussed - Despatches from Lord Napier are published in London containing a conversation with Prince Gortschakoff. Lord Napier said to Prince Gortschakoff that England regarded the reply of Russia as an insult, and capable oi disturbing peaceful relations between the two Governments. Prince Gortscbakoff demands a Conference between the three powers of Russia, Austria and Prussia only. The Czar will not permit tbe interference of other nations with Russian affairs. England, France, and Austria bare begun to exchange a note to be sent to Russia at the end of the week.
